PunkBuster: PunkBuster is an automatically self-updating Anti-Cheat software system.Tl dr If you run a Quake Live server on a different port for possible conflict reasons, add the port into the launch parameters AND the config else the server wont work.Quake 3 Point release 1.32 corrects a range of bugs introduced by previous patches while adding new features greatly that improves the gameplay: This method sets the port on boot with higher precedence than the config file, ensuring a smooth boot. The workaround for this is to include +set net_port in the launch parameters. This means that if you are already running Quake 3 and port 27960 is in use, you can set the port in the Quake Live config to whatever you want and it wont work when the server boots. When the Quake Live server boots, it first opens port 27960, THEN executes the config after. One of these servers is Quake 3 which runs on port 27960 by default. I am hosting multiple game servers on my host. I got the issue sorted out with help from the dudes on the discord 50ShadesOfSpray_ sent me. PS: I have joined the webchat here but no one is responding. I have tried everything I could find online but it does not seem to be working. I can also use the console to connect with /connect IP:PORT from a PC externally over the internet and it works fine. I can add the server manually as a favorite in Steam and that works. I have an issue where my QL dedicated server is not showing up in the server browser. Posts promoting or requesting pirated game content/serial codes/similar will be removed - repeated offenses can lead to a ban.Posts/comments promoting or requesting information on cheats/hacks lead to an immediate ban.Reposts of "classic" fragmovies/VODs etc.Content relating purely to non-Quake games will not be tolerated.QW, Q2, Q3, Q4 and CPMA content will be tolerated to some extent ( /r/quake allows content from all quake-related games).Prevent spoilers of current/recent tournament results in titles, mark posts that contain or are meant to discuss spoilers with "" in the title.
